Study on the synthesis and electrochromic properties of polymers films based on dithienopyrrole

以噻吩并吡咯为主要结构单元,分别在侧链上键合不同基团,合成了4-(4 H-二噻吩[3,2-b:2′3′-d]吡咯-4-苯基)-N,N-甲基胺(TPDA)、4-(4 H-二噻吩[3,2-b:2′3′-d]吡咯-4-苯基)-N,N-二苯胺(TPPA)和4-(4-(9 H-咔唑)苯基-4 H-)二噻吩[3,2-b:2′3′-d]吡咯(CPTP)3种单体化合物.通过电化学聚合法,利用3种单体分别制备得到的聚合物薄膜均表现出良好的电化学性能.同步原位电化学-紫外可见吸收光谱联用测试结果表明,TPDA聚合物(PTPDA)薄膜在不同的外加电压下可以显示橘红色(0.0 V)到蓝色(1.0 V)的变换;TPPA聚合物(PTPPA)薄膜可在不同的电压下在浅黄色(0.0 V)、浅绿色(0.6 V)、紫色(1.0 V)和蓝色(1.3 V)之间进行切换;CPTP聚合物(PCPTP)薄膜可在黄色(0.0 V)、黄绿色(0.4 V)、绿色(0.6 V)和浅蓝色(0.8 V)之间变换.3种聚合物薄膜均显示出良好的响应时间,PTPDA为0.50和1.68 s(470 nm),PTPPA为1.41和0.44 s(650 nm),PCPTP为0.53和4.56 s(630 nm).通过改变侧链基团实现了对主链聚合物薄膜电致变色的精确调控,其优异性能在电致变色器件上具有良好的应用前景.
Different substituent groups were introduced into the N-position of dithienopyrroles as pendant groups to prepare the monomers of 4-(4 H-dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyrrol-4-yl)-N,N-dimethylaniline(TPDA),4-(4 H-dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyrrol-4-yl)-N,N-diphenylaniline(TPPA),and 4-(4-(9 H-carbazol-9-yl)phenyl)-4 H-dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyrrole(CPTP),respectively.The polymer films prepared from the monomers showed excellent electrochemical property via electrochemical polymerization.The result of in situ spectroelectrochemistry illustrated that PTPDA based on TPDA film showed orange color in the neutral state(0.0 V),and blue color for the oxidation state(1.0 V);PTPPA based on TPPA films exhibited four color of yellow(0.0 V),green(0.6 V),purple(1.0 V),and blue(1.3 V);PCPTP based on CPTP films showed yellow(0.0 V),yellow-green(0.4 V),green(0.6 V),and light blue(0.8 V)color.All polymer films showed fast switching time,0.50 and 1.68 s(470 nm)for PTPDA;1.41 and 0.44 s(650 nm)for PTPPA;0.53 and 4.56 s(630 nm)for PCPTP,respectively.In this study,the electrochromic properties of backbone polymer were precisely regulated by changing the side chain groups,providing a good prospect in electrochromic devices.
